EPOS ON (EPOS Optimization and EvolutioN) is a Horizon Europe project supporting the optimisation, and long-term sustainability of the European Plate Observing System (EPOS), the pan-European Research Infrastructure for solid Earth science.
Following the launch of EPOS operations, the project helps strengthen the infrastructure by enhancing services, expanding scientific communities, increasing user engagement, and reinforcing cooperation with European and international partners.
EPOS ON builds on more than two decades of EPOS development and contributes to ensuring that the infrastructure remains responsive to emerging scientific, technological and societal challenges. Through new services, innovative technologies, capacity-building activities and stronger stakeholder engagement, the project supports the next phase of EPOS and its contribution to science and society.
