New network to boost public-private initiatives

Cooperative arrangements between public and private sectors are receiving increasing attention. EU-wide initiatives are revolutionising how public and private sectors work together and facilitating the creation of structural frameworks that are needed to foster such collaborations. This is the goal of the EU-funded ENRIITC (European Network of Research Infrastructures and Industry for Collaboration) project. It will build a permanent network of Industrial Liaison and Contact Officers (ILOs and ICOs) to maximise their engagement and boost the research infrastructures-industry partnerships. It will support the establishment of strategic, cross-border partnerships between industry and research infrastructures. Specifically, ENRIITC will establish a sustainable European network of ILOs and ICOs that will enable learning, map collaboration potential between research and industry, and develop strategies and best practices.

Start date: January 1st 2020 | End date: December 31st 2022
