The General Assembly 2022 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) will be held from 3 to 8 April both in Vienna, Austria, at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), and online, as a fully hybrid event.
EGU and its conference partner, Copernicus Meetings, are opening the call for abstracts for the General Assembly 2022. The deadline for abstract submission is 12 January 2022 at 13:00 CET. Authors will be limited to one abstract as first author (with a few exceptions). All first authors must also be a current member of EGU to submit an abstract.
Authors wanting to participate in EGU22 can choose to submit their abstracts to a session that will have been proposed in one of two formats :
- traditional oral/poster sessions which will be available as in-person sessions only
- vPICO sessions, which will be available as a truly hybrid offer with participants able to contribute to sessions equally whether joining online or in-person.
