EPOS has jus launched its First Summer School, a unique training opportunity for PhD students, postdocs, and early-career scientists working with multidisciplinary geoscience data.

This intensive, hands-on programme will cover the fundamentals of Research Data Management, data discovery, processing, and the use of Jupyter Notebooks for open-science workflows. Participants will also refine their own scientific use cases through group work and discussions.

Key Information

📌 Who can apply? PhD students, postdocs, and early-career scientists in geosciences. No prior experience required—basic programming knowledge is an advantage.

📌 Participation is free of charge. Travel and accommodation costs should be covered by participants’ organizations, but EPOS ON travel grants are available.

📌 How to apply: Submit your application by 21 April 2025. Selection will be based on the relevance and quality of proposed scientific use cases, with considerations for diversity and geographical representation.
All applicants will be informed of the selection results by end of May 2025.
