Development activities: Study and literature research on the application of Machine Learning methods to solid earth science data and products (e.g., tsunami data, seismological data), initial testing and implementations using the EPOS Data Portal, method application to real datasets, software integration in the EPOS Data Portal, and AI code access service.
Skills: Knowledge of major programming paradigms, Java and Python development, Versioning and Continuous Integration (CI/CD), Relational databases, Non-relational databases, Unix-Like systems, Software development tools, Experience with ML algorithm applications, Neural Networks, Teamwork, English proficiency.
Economic conditions: Approximately 1500 € per month.
