The European project IMPROVE (Innovative Multi-disciplinary European Research training network on VolcanoEs) is opening 15 positions in volcano science for early-stage researchers with a variety of backgrounds including Earth Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Engineering.
All positions are for a length of 36 months, starting from March 2022, with EU standard salary for MSCA-ITN fellowships. All of them foresee PhD enrolment, either at the recruiting Organization or through partner Universities.
Candidates must meet the following requisites:
- Be of any nationality, but not having resided or carried out their main activity (job, studies, ...) in the country of appointment for more than 1 year in the past 3 years.
- Be within 4 years from the degree that in their country, or in the country of appointment, gives access to a PhD.
- Not having completed a PhD. Current PhD students can apply.
