EPOS is one of the participating members of Geo-INQUIRE, a Horizon Europe project that will provide access to observations, data products and services in the geosciences.

Through this project, scientists will gain access to vast amounts of data and state-of-the-art numerical models and workflows, allowing them to better understand the fundamental processes of the Earth systems, in particular those associated with geohazards, and sustainable use of georesources.

Geo-INQUIRE will be coordinated by GFZ, Germany’s national research center for the solid Earth Sciences, and will involve institutions from 13 countries. The grant agreement has been signed in the past weeks, and the start date is 1 October 2022.

For more information about the project, read GFZ's press release.
