The National Institute for Earth Physics (NIEP) will be present at the IDRiM2022 Conference (the 12th International Conference of the International Society for the Integrated Disaster Risk Management) in September 2022.

The EPOS Community is invited to submit abstracts to the special session "Disaster Mitigation and Earth Observations: The European Plate Observation System (EPOS) perspective". The short abstracts (limit of 200 words) must be submitted within June 30, 2022, via this link.

The EPOS special session aims to bring together different stakeholders involved in disaster mitigation and Earth observation activities, from data and service providers to end-users, providing an opportunity to share best practices and experiences and providing opportunities to advance our understanding of disaster risk, highlighting, at the same time, existing gaps and future research directions.

The IDRiM2022 Conference will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and online, between 21 and 23 September 2022. The IDRiM2022 Conference can bring significant contributions to advance state of the art in integrated disaster risk management research and increase the effectiveness of disaster risk reduction activities at all levels.
