The Analysis and Experimentation on Ecosystems (AnaEE) has been granted the legal status of European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC) on 22 February 2022 by the European Commission (EC).
France will be the host Member State of AnaEE- ERIC. The other founding members are Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Italy, Finland and the "International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies" (CIHEAM). Belgium will participate in AnaEE-ERIC initially as an observer.
AnaEE-ERIC brings together and provides access to state-of-the-art experimental and analytical platforms for ecosystems research throughout Europe. It aims to integrate all the steps of the scientific experimental methods, modelling and experimentation in a single, distributed, Research Infrastructure (RI).
With this decision, AnaEE is now the 23rd established ERIC, thus benefiting from a stable legal structure that facilitates the establishment and operation of the RI. In 2021, AnaEE was acknowledged as an ESFRI landmark.
