Working Packages

The work plan of the EPOS Preparatory Phase is divided into eight complementary work packages:

• WP1- Preparatory Phase Management addresses the overall management of the project as well as the consortium organization;

• WP2 - Legal Work, WP3 - Governance,  WP4 - Financial Plan covers the legal, the governance and the financial/fund raising work, respectively;

• WP5 - Strategy deals with the strategic plan for the EPOS Observing System and oversees the implementation strategies for integrating the solid Earth scientific community;

• WP6 - Technical preparation coordinates all the technical work necessary for empowering the integration of the research infrastructures and the implementation of the e-infrastructure components;

• WP7 - Architecture and Implementation plan based on the solutions retained in WP2-3-4 concerning the legal, governance and financial work as well as the technical work in WP6, will define the architecture and the implementation plan for the EPOS construction in synergy with the strategic plan envisioned in WP5;

• WP8 - Stakeholder interactions and dissemination deals with the project outreach, dissemination and training activities as well as with the RI promotion and user interaction.
